Swix Quantum is a series of various ski poles made to fit your needs, but which one should you choose?

The Swix Quantum series contains six different poles made for cross country skiing. They all have different abilities, which you will learn in this article.

Swix Quantum 1

 

Quantum One is the top model in the series. It is a racing pole with excellent stiffness, pendulum, and weight properties.

Swix Quantum 2

Quantum 2 is also an excellent pole for those who want to race or go fast in training. A fun fact is that one centimeter weighs one gram on a 155 cm long pole.

Swix Quantum 3

Swix Quantum 4

This pole uses a different strap system than Quantum 1, 2, and 3. The basket is bigger as well, but you can change this to a smaller one.

Swix Quantum 5

Swix Quantum 6

TCS - Swix Triac Connection System

This strap is made to maximize the power of each stroke. It is a hand-shaped strap for maximum power transmission. They are easy to replace, and you can choose between four strap options for custom fitting.
This strap is used on Swix Quantum One, Two and Three.

Pro fit 3D strap

The strap consists of mesh lining with a solid layer of nylon on the outside. The combination allows efficient power transfer during skiing while ensuring optimal comfort.
Pro fit 3D fits Swix Quantum Four, Five and Six.

TBS - SWIX Triac® Basket System


TBS is a patented interchangeable basket system, allowing the user to change basket in just a few seconds. The non-glue system makes it very easy for the user to adapt to any snow conditions. Unscrew the nut, switch basket, and tighten again.
TBS is used on Swix Quantum 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Quantum 6 uses an older basket system that is glued on the pole.
